Podcast Basics


1. What is a podcast?

A podcast is like a "radio program" that's broadcast over the internet. Each podcast, like it's "radio program" cousin, is divided into episodes. These podcast episodes, like a radio or television program, can be heard on a regular basis.

A more detailed answer to this question would be that a podcast is what you get when you cross a digital audio file (music, spoken word, etc...) with a syndicated website feed (called an RSS feed.)

2. Subscribe? How much does it cost


This is one of the best things about podcasting. It's completely free!

 

 

 
3. How do I subscribe?

Please keep in mind that subscribing to our podcast is different than simply listening to our podcast. To listen to Trinitycast just go to www.trinitycast.com and hit the play button.

To subscribe you're going to need 3 things.

1. A computer that's connected to the internet.

2. Speakers connected to your computer, and turned on.

3. An audio program that will let you subscribe to our podcast.

That's right, you DON'T need an iPod! iPod's simply make it incredibly convienent for you to take your podcast episodes with you, but you don't need one to subscribe to our podcast. Just the three things listed above.

One of the easiest ways to listen to Trinitycast is with iTunes. iTunes, is made by Apple Computers, but is also compatible with both Windows XP and Windows Vista. iTunes is also FREE to download.
